Chelan Coffee Crumb Cake Mix

Ingredients: Enriched unbleached flour (wheat flour, malted barley flour, niacin, iron, thiamine, riboflavin, folic acid), cane sugar, brown sugar, baking soda, vanilla bean powder, cream of tartar, Real Salt™, cinnamon, nutmeg.

You will need:

• All of the crumble topping (small bag)
• All of the cake mix (main bag)
• 3 1/2 tsp Butter
• 1 C Sour cream
• 2 Eggs
• 1 C Water

1. Preheat oven to 365°
2. Grease and flour a 9x13 pan or 12 muffin tins.
3. In a small bowl, cut the crumble topping and room temperature butter together with a fork then set aside.
4. In a medium bowl, mix together sour cream, water and egg. Once combined add the cake mix and mix well. Once the batter is mixed fold in any optional fruit or nuts.
5. Pour the batter into floured pan then sprinkle the prepared crumble on top.
6. Bake for 25 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.

Framed by the Cascade Mountains, Lake Chelan is a true Washington treasure, known for its deep blue waters and weekend escape feel. At the far end of the lake sits Stehekin, a remote community accessible only by ferry, making it the only town in Washington without road access.

Dairy Free: Instead of sour cream, use either mayo or applesauce and reduce to 1/3 cup.

Berry and Lemon: Add 3/4 C of berries and 1 Tbl of lemon juice to the cake batter

Apple and Walnut: Add 3/4 C of sliced apples and 1/4 C of walnuts to the cake batter

Banana Almond: Add 3/4 C of sliced bananas to the cake batter and 1/4 C of sliced almonds to the crumb mix.
